State Wide Pairs

2003

The State Wide Pairs was contested at 44 clubs around NSW this year.

Our thanks go to

• Nick Fahrer at the Bookshop who heavily discounted several books in the interests of State Wide Pairs participants.
• Ron Klinger, journalist for the Sydney Morning Herald and Sun Herald who gave the event generous exposure.
• Paul Marston of Australian Bridge who, again, contributed subscriptions to the magazine as prizes and to the dozens of Directors around the State who worked hard in the presentation of the event.

We certainly hope that all Participating Clubs join us again next year.

I apologise for foolishly selecting a hand in session 2 for inclusion on the Roll of Honour which, being very late in the set, was not played at a great many clubs. In future I shall select deals which will be played by all.

Congratulations to the overall winners, Suzanne Reynolds & Margaret Robinson from Orange Bridge Club for an excellent performance, averaging 64.2% for the event.
