State Open Teams

2003

The FABC, on behalf of the Tournament Committee of the New South Wales Bridge Association invites all affiliated clubs to conduct qualifying sections for The State Open Teams Championship in order to qualify one or more teams to play in the Metropolitan or Regional Finals. The 2003 State Open Teams Finals will be held on November 28-30 at the NSW Bridge Association.

Metropolitan Final
The Metropolitan final of the State Open Teams was held at Lindfield on Sunday, September 14.

1st Lindfield 4 (J Mottram, E Quittner, J Quittner, R Jamieson)
2nd Lindfield 3 (S Bock, L Grewcock, J Griffin, A Milovanovic)
These two teams have qualified to play in the quarter final.

Country Final

The Country Final section of the State Open Teams  was held in Tamworth on the weekend of October 25/26. 

1st  Southern Highlands (L Borncrantz, D Evans, E Chadwick, R Borland)
2nd  Port Macquarie (K Tant, B Griffiths, A Rutter, S King)
3rd  Maitland (M Eggins, M Robertson, D Monahan, R Yandle)
The Southern Highlands team, with augmentation, will represent the Country in the quarter final.
